VAS Audit also utilised to reduce property specific lending risks

Fast-growing short-term bridging finance company, Hope Capital has announced the completion of £100m worth of valuations with VAS Panel in the last 12 months.

The company, which both rebranded and doubled its lending in 2018, utilises the comprehensive valuation panel management service to ensure the most relevant third-party valuers are instructed to provide loan security valuations based on location, deal type and value.

During the last year Hope Capital has also utilised VAS Audit, which has provided independent auditing of other third party valuations to allow the lender to make an informed decision as to whether to rely on existing reports.

Laura Carr, Head of Underwriting at Hope Capital, said: “To deliver true speed and efficiency in the bridging sector requires partners who are quick to deliver accurate and reliable information, and VAS Panel gives us immediate nationwide access to valuers who we know we can trust to minimise property specific lending risks.

“It is essential for Hope Capital to provide a quick and efficient service for our broker partners and clients and by working collaboratively with VAS ensures that we can deliver funding on time, even when deadlines are tight.”

“We pride ourselves on the quality of our valuation panel and maintaining high reporting standards, which is crucial in the short term lending market,” added Stephen Todd, co-founder and managing director of VAS Group. “This allows our lender partners to do what they do best, supply an exceptional primary service.”

VAS Panel and VAS Audit are part of the VAS Group which also incorporates VAS Software, a cloud-based valuation panel management framework system which allows lenders to better manage their own existing panels.

Hope Capital offers bridging loan rates from 0.99% on loans between £100k – £5m up to 75% loan-to-value (LTV), quick decisions, complete transparency on fees and interest and the payment of broker fees and commission immediately on completion.
