Why are technically correct valuation instructions essential?

Well. the instructions that we receive at VAS from either the lender or the broker need to be clear, concise and technically correct to prevent delays in the valuation process. We would, therefore, ask that you verify all information you are providing is correct before submitting to us and that you provide all pertinent documentation that is relevant to the valuation process. For example, a copy of a lease, planning documents, schedule of works, etc, furthermore, if extra information and/ or documentation is required or is missing, then we’d ask you do not instruct until obtained and/ or collated, as this will negate delays and incorrect valuation reports being submitted. Finally, we’d ask that you confirm- ideally in bullet point form- all valuations required.
